Dave Lynch is an artist, director & inventor working internationally with interactive installation, moving image and projection. He has produced over 360 live visual shows including installations in the once largest room in the world, a 20 storey cylindrical building and a 90m high quarry.
Previous projects include friispray.co.uk (open source infrared graffiti) and techyurt.net – an expert led, rapid idea environment. This year his work featured on wired.co.uk, and in the New York Times.
His upcoming Project Nimbus (supported by Leeds Physical Chemistry Group) is the exploration of digital and analogue techniques to project moving images onto clouds from the ground, sea level and aircraft including: Planes, Para-gliders & hot air balloons. It aims to deliver multiple projection installations onto clouds, cooling towers, steam trains and urban vents, and debuts in the New Scientist in 2013.
